Welcome To AdtrackerCentral
If you do any type of marketing on the internet you need an
ad tracker to keep track of all your ad campaigns. I would
say that having some form of tracking tools is the most important and
powerful asset that you can have. Every successful marketer
test and track their results so that they know what works
and what does not. Do not spend money on advertising if you
do not track your results, that would be the same as
throwing you well earned money down the drain.
A tracking system will help you keep track of all your hits,
sales, affiliate signups, opt-in subscribers, conversion
rates and much more.
You MUST use an ad tracker to have success in your marketing.
When you track your clicks you can tweak, change and
experiment with your ad testing so that you always know what
works and what does not. It is important to stop your bad
and unsuccessful campaigns before turn out to be big losers.
How do they work ?
They all works in the same way, you just replace the
standard url that you want to promote with an ad tracker url.
An example is under:
Your normal url for your ad is
www.yoursite.com/products/product01 and you would like to
track than activity of hits coming to this product from your
ads. In stead of putting this url in your ad, you logg into
your ad tracker and set up a tracking url.
There are two ways to use advertise tracking, you can either
install a system on your own domain, most of the
software out are pretty easy to install if you do
have some knowledge of html, php or cgi, if not you can find
great articles and tips on how to do it here. You can also
ask the supplier to help you install them on your domain,
some will do it for free if you bought the ad tracker
software from them while other might charge a small fee. You
will now have tracking urls that carry your domain name.
The other alternative is to use a tracking service provider.
They often charge a monthly or yearly fee for using their
program. Your tracking urls will now carry the tracking
service providers url name.
